Horse starting and training and problem solving
Allie has over 30 years experience in schooling and educating horses. She likes to say that every horse she has handled has improved noticeably.
With a passion to ensure that each horse gets a fair start to their working life, she enjoys starting young horse’s or solving problems which have arisen.
Allie also has 
enthusiasm for taking horses to the highest potential she can, and believes “dressage” is simply finding and applying the best techniques to obtain that for your horse. In her book, dressage and competition dressage are two different fields.
From riding lessons to starting your young horse, from on going training to problem solving. All available through PMB.
Weekly: includes full agistment. $210 per horse. Hourly: $45 / hr.
Each horse is an individual and if you ask how long your horse will need prior to us seeing him or her, you may get an answer of "How long is a piece of string?"
Talk to us first about what you want to achieve and where your horse is currently at.
Please feel free to discuss your needs and aims as this is of vital importance to achieving a satisfactory result.
Training and Starting includes normal basic green broke, stop, start, walk, trot, canter (on the correct lead) stage. “Park brake” on the ground and in the saddle.
We also teach your horse to accept a farrier, being washed and being floated.
I recommend 6 weeks as a minimum to get a horse to this stage.
Remember this is only the first stage of training, and the horse is still only just started his or her learning out in the wide world.
We aim to have your horse quiet and safe to handle as well as being ridden in normal home circumstances.
Training to be quiet at shows under an inexperienced rider takes a much longer time.
Ongoing training – want to give you horse a kick ahead for the show season?
Want to get your horse started on the new movements but not sure how to go about it?
Think about spoiling your horse for a week or twos training to help them over that hurdle.
Or perhaps you are short on time and energy but really need your horse worked?

Riding lessons (on our schoolmasters or your own horse)
With many years of competing in fields as different as picnic races, 3 day eventing, showjumping, showing and dressage, Allie enjoys passing on her skills to new riders. 
Her approach is one of “It must be enjoyable and safe” for both you and the horse.
She shares the joy of achievement, either her own or her students.
She always teaches with a positive approach and attitude, never 'hectoring' or 'badgering' her pupils.
With experience gained with over many years and horses, she will help you enjoy your riding to it’s fullest
Allie is currently competing at Medium and Advanced level dressage on “Powder Monkey”.
Spider Monkey is the up and coming lad, yet to have his first start.

Lessons in Harness and Longreining Techniques
From harnessing up to driving, Richard and Casper the Clydesdale (Chunky Monkey) are together developing the arts of Long reining, harness and chains 
work. They are able and happy to give demonstrations and / or lessons in these arts.
Casper is more than willing to 'help' students, or we can work with you and your own horse to the same ends.
We also have added to the stable Night Monkey, a lovely kind black mare who is training harness.
Night Monkey will be available for lessons shortly.
Cost per lesson is $45/hr.
Assessment and assistance in advertising and preparing horses for sale
Don’t know how to go about selling your horse or gear?
We can help you write an advert and advise you on placement.
We can take photos, video’s and advise as the best approach for you.
With the website up and running, we have plenty of room for photos and video’s to ensure buyers can see what they are getting before spending your time in coming to look.
We can tailor our services and costs for your requirements.
Assistance in selecting the RIGHT horse for you
There is nothing more important than the right horse, especially when you are starting out.
The right horse will be with you for a long time as a family member.
It is too important to get wrong.
The wrong horse can lead to disastrous results, from you giving up horse’s to injury to you or your horse.
Aside from the money, there is the higher cost of giving your heart to a horse which you may have to part with later.
We will also provide follow up service to assist you to have the best relationship with your horse.

Horse transport
PMB has a quality double float which will hold 2 large horses in comfort and room for your gear in the tack box.
We can transport your horse safely without stress.
We are highly experienced at floating horses and training horses to load happily and with confidence.
Costs are based on distance.
Pricing is $1.80 per km for shorter hauls.
Long distances by arrangement.
